Ed and Louise are the heart and soul behind Wedding Day Photos. Their journey, rooted in a shared passion for capturing life's joyous moments, has seen Ed embrace the art of wedding photography passed down from his father, while Louise, with her background in law, meticulously orchestrates every intricate detail. Beyond their professional roles, Ed's love for cycling adventures in Snowdonia and an unexpected interest in beekeeping contrasts with Louise's fondness for the great outdoors and her immersive reading sessions. Yet, both find unparalleled joy in being part of couples' special wedding moments.
Their approach to wedding photography is bespoke, prioritising the unique needs and visions of each couple. Ash
From a young age, Ash was spellbound by the magic of cinema, drawing inspiration from iconic directors like Spielberg and Nolan. This passion steered him towards a career in videography, beginning with studies in media production and evolving into roles such as assistant director and head of production. His varied experience spans from crafting content for Manchester United to filming tutorials for British Cycling. However, it's in wedding videography where Ash's cinematic flair truly comes to the fore.
Every wedding is a unique tale for Ash, brimming with intricate details that echo the couple's character. His professionalism, from thorough planning to seamless collaboration with photographers, ensures every fleeting moment is immortalised. Ash's filming technique marries modern technology with vintage elegance. Using 4K cameras paired with classic lenses, he produces filmic images rich with emotion, further enhanced by his expert grading skills.
Working closely with couples, Ash tailors his approach to resonate with their vision, be it stylised or documentary. It’s been a genuine pleasure sharing these experiences with you all and we hope we’ve captured many memories that you will cherish forever!
2020 - 2021 was a tough period of time of everyone and it was the first year we decided to enter The Wedding Industry Awards and we were so surprised and so grateful to be recognised with a Regional Highly Commended Award!
