Meet Ed
Born and raised in Saddleworth, surrounded by countryside, I grew up assisting my dad, a wedding photographer for over 30 years. From carrying his bags to capturing candid moments, I gained early hands-on experience in photography and working with people. These lessons guided me into a successful career in commercial photography, eventually taking over my dad’s business after his retirement.
While studying graphic design and new media at university, I discovered a passion for photography in the campus darkroom. After managing creative teams in advertising, I launched my own commercial photography studio in 2008, working on high-profile projects with subjects like Bill Gates and Manchester United players. These experiences bring reliability, precision, and creativity to my wedding work.
When I’m not behind the camera, I love the outdoors—cycling, camping, and dog walking with my wife Louise and my two children. Weddings combine my creative skills with my passion for storytelling, allowing me to craft images couples will treasure for a lifetime.
