Clare & Paul, The Midland Hotel, Morecambe

This wedding took place at the very unique and stunning Midland Hotel in Morecambe. The building was restored in 2008 and makes the perfect location for weddings with the beautiful views over the pebble beach.

We experienced every kind of weather on this wedding with side-ways rain to start off! Despite this, everyone was in really high spirits and looking forward to the ceremony. Shortly after the drinks reception the dark clouds blew away to reveal the blue sky and gave us one of our best sunsets ever later that evening!

It was lovely see so many familiar faces at this wedding after photographing the best man’s wedding around 3 years previously – and to meet Michael and Joanne’s daughter for the first time!

Here’s the highlights of the day – starting along the sea front with the guys posing next to a statue of Eric Morecambe, then onto the ceremony and reception which all took place at the Midland Hotel. We have to also just mention the amazing spiral staircase which we used to capture a large group of all the guests – throwing confetti down the centre towards the camera! Probably one of our best group shots ever!
