Ella & Fan Proposal & Engagement Shoot

A few weeks ago, one of my previous wedding assistants got in touch to tell me she was planning to propose to her girlfriend - naturally I was thrilled and excited for her and even more honoured that she asked me to photograph the proposal! You should know that Ella is an amazingly talented photographer and illustrator so no pressure to perfectly capture this once in a lifetime moment!!!

Ella had planned a weekend of fun and games in Manchester for their anniversary which ended with a treasure hunt finding a cute little canal boat for their overnight stay in Castlefield. I’d drop off the cake at the boat the next morning and wait in the bushes for Ella to give me the signal she was ready… oh yeah, and it was raining, A LOT!

Here’s some of the photos I captured of the them looking giddy with excitement and non-stop smiles. We finished off the shoot with the snow creating a magical setting underneath the bridges!
